Below is Chapter 5...Policy Statements To Protect the Land on Forest Street owned by The Town and every citizen........To protect Forest Street from decisions made at Town Hall that will destroy this special place.............When Chapter 5 is implemented it would mean that our Town Council...could not...cut the trees down on Forest Street.....they could not widen the road.....they could not destroy the grassy areas with concrete and asphalt....they could not put in parking spaces....they could not destroy the storm water system......they could not put in truck lanes........they could not put in curb and guttering....they could not put in new sidewalks.......they could not make Forest Street a major Truck route between the highway..airport and harbor.........Chapter 5 means Town Hall can not destroy Forest Street..........Chapter 5 means our Town Officials..Town Employees and contracted workers would be required to maintain and restore the Town-Owned Land on Forest Street for the benefit of the whole community and its future..... Forest Street can be a major tourist attraction for the benefit of your children............... Chapter 5 means the plans of the powerful in Yarmouth Nova Scotia .....to use Forest Street for their purposes will be stopped permanently. It means the local people and the tourist will be able to enjoy this important part of our history long into the future. It is up to you...I am only one person ...in these pages I have provided accurate information to help you.....I have provided a way to protect Forest Street............start a petition..... It is important to do this now......they are doing what they can to stop me and they are hoping this will all die away.......so keep at them and do not give up....we must force Town Hall to implement Chapter 5. but now is the time ....it will be too late once the decisions are made...........if not it will either be eaten away piece by piece slowly or road crews may move in unexpectedly and there will be little hope of stopping the destruction at that point.......

Chapter 5...this is were the problems began.....some politicians and their wealthy...self-important...self-serving....cronies...realized what was going on.....they were losing control..........they were losing control to the people.............there was no logical argument against protecting Forest Street so they began using every sleazy dirty trick to prevent the people from controlling the Street's fate .......

. ... According to what I have learned by best guess is .....that if you do not act..... The Forest Street you know will disappear in two to three years.....it will still be here of course ...but it's value to our community will be lost........your skeptical.....look how quickly other things have disappeared in this Town...just look around you.......the list is too long......look at Main Street...let's see what disappears next..........
